Caring for animals
6 Ways we can take care for animals: Create a garden that is safe for animals, use less plastic, buy local products, take care for your animals (like grooming them), teach others and stand up for animal rights, and help with community science projects.
Learners can participate in a circle discussion, where leaners can share their opinions on how we can take care for animals and how we can do implement it in our own lives.

Humans depend on animals

Learners can go on a nature exploration in the school's garden and when they spot n insect, they can discuss how they help people.
Technology
Providing for animals needs
The importance for animal shelter: To keep them safe from the weather, escaping from those who wants to harm them, to conserve energy, care for their children, rest and heal, and to socialise with other animals. (Murray, J., 2025)
Learners can design their own mini animal shelter from recycled materials or boxes. They will develop skills like planning, designing and problem-solving.
Recycling for animals' protection
How can recycling help animals: Protects animals' homes, keeps habitats and resources safe, gets rid of waste that can harm animals, prevents dangerous chemicals to reach animals, make less use of nature materials and energy which creates a safe place for animals. (Unknown, 2024)
Learner can do a recycled project where they go with the teacher exploring the school's grounds and pick up any waste that can harm animals and throw it in different bags to teach them how to recycle.
