Inquiry based activity - Learners watch a short video of how bees collect pollen, then draw how pollen is moved from flower to flower.
Sub topic 2 - Animals that give us food and clothes
Inquiry based activity - Learners will sort and classify pictures of animal products into 'Food' and 'Clothing' groups.
Key concept - Animal products -Animals provide products such as milk, eggs and wool.
Social Science
Sub topic 1- Farming and animals.
Inquiry based activity - Learner's trace how a food item (milk or eggs) moves from the farm to their homes. Thye brainstorm their ideas and draw the process: (milking a cow - transporting -packaging - selling - buying - eating) and identify any community helpers involved.
Key concept - Farming - Farmers and animals work together to produce food for people.
Sub topic 2 - Animals that work for us.
Key concept - Helper animals - some animals assist people or transport goods.
Inquiry based activity - After watching a video of helper animals, the learners work in pairs to role play how a guide dog helps it owner and how a horse or donkey helps farmer transport goods using a toy cart.

Sub topic 1 - Processing animal products
Key concept - Production - Technoloy changes raw materials into usable products.
Inquiry based activity - I will do a demonstration activity by shaking a jar of milk to make butter.
Sub topic 2 - Design a safe animal home
Inquiry based activity - Learners will design and build a dog shelter using recycled materials.
Key concept - Design/constructing -Technology can help protect animals that help us.
