Reflection: After doing the Vocabulary and Reading activities, I learned many new words about European art and architecture, such as palace, fresco, arch, ceiling, and amphitheatre. They helped me understand Elena’s travel blog better. I found her trip very interesting because she changed her mind from thinking it was boring to really enjoying it. I also learned that traveling can teach us about history, culture, and beautiful places. This activity made me want to visit Italy one day and see the amazing buildings and paintings myself.
