CHAP 3. Private Dawah
Spiritual Training
- Jibreel came to our prophet SAW and made wudu while the prophet watched how to purify himself for salah.
- Then the prophet SAW made wudu in the same manner.
- Then Jibreel led him in salah, and the prophet SAW prayed behind him

b. 1-11 try to imitate their parents, 11+ immitating their peers
- Afterwards, the prophet SAW taught Khadijah RA to make wudu and pray, and they prayed together
a. it is essential for families to pray tg once a day, and eat tg once a day.

Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra)

It was Allah’s blessing upon Ali (ra) that he grew up in the household of the Prophet (he was 10, some say12)
Zayd ibn Harithah (ra)
The next to accept Islam was Zayd. He was c aptured as a child, sold to a relative of Khad ī jah who gifted Zayd to her; s he in turn gave him as a gift to the Prophet in marriage.
Zayd was given the option to go home, he said:
"I can never choose anyone over you, as you to me like my father and uncle combined"
after this he took zayd to the front of the ka'bah and said, today i adopt Zayd as my son. This freed him and made him family. He was called Zayd Ibn Muhammad for a while till the ayah came down
Duration
Ibn Ishaq (ra) says: It has reached me that The Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص preached the message privately for three years until Allah swt commanded him to go public .
Prayers
Various scholars hold the opinion that in early Islam, there were only two prayers:
