Class activity: Learners will be given a worksheet where they would have to match the animals to the products they provide.
What does cows, bees and chicken give us? According to AnimalSmart.org cows can produce milk for humans to use in there everyday life as well as meat. Bees provide honey from a process called pollination and chicken also provides a food source called eggs. Its important to have these foods in a healthy diet.
Animals that help people with work.
There are various animals that help people: Dogs are known for helping the blind or being police guard dogs. Horses and donkeys assist people with labour. (Millstein.S. 2024)
Class Activity: Whole Class will watch a video about the animals who help and assist people. After, learners will be split into groups and each group will discuss and how a specific animal assists people and then present it to the class.

From the time of the caveman, animals were used for various things. From transportation and labour to food. (Douglas O. L. 2021)
Class Activity: Learners will be given a worksheet where they would cut out pictures of various animals assisting people and place it in the correct column of 'Then or Now' . (E.g. Horse and cart - Cars .
Animals who help in the community
Animals and humans have a relationship where some would say is better than human relationships. Animals tend to trust those who are kind to them, thus resulting in service dogs who help the police as well as service dogs. Even horses have become a source of help in the community. In both rural and urban areas animals help people.
Class Activity: After the lesson on the roles of animals in the community, learners will be given a map of their community area, with landmarks such as police station, rural areas, farming land ,etc. They will then be given pictures of different animals where they would have to cut out and paste on the correct landmark.

Animals Inspired Humans
Animals inspire us on many different creations such as a airplane is inspired by a bird. Animals like the shark as well helped inspired the swimsuit. (Learn Biomimicry. 2025)
Class Activity: Learners are to create a airplane using recycling materials that should take the shape of a bird, mimicing the birds wings.
Animals should be treated with kindness
Although animals help a tremendous amount, they unfortunately are not treated well in many parts of the world. There are those who only think of animals as workers. (Animal Advocacy Careers.n.d.)
Class activity: Learners are to investigate how service dogs are treated and then design and create a dog shelter that would benefit the animal in safety and comfortability.
