        Inquiry Question: How do animals help us stay warm?
        I will show the learners samples or pictures of wool, cotton, and synthetic fabrics. I will then ask the learners to predict which fabric comes from an animal. I will then play a short video or look at pictures of sheep being sheared. I will get the learners to feel or observe textures, compare softness and warmth.
        Skills Developed: Observation, comparing and contrasting, tactile exploration, identifying natural vs manufactured materials.

        Inquiry Question: What animals help make the food we eat in the morning?
        I will display a “breakfast table” with honey, milk, and eggs (pictures or real items). I will then ask the learners to match each food item to a picture of the animal that provides it. I will then discuss how bees make honey, cows give milk, and chickens lay eggs. The learners will then draw “My breakfast helpers” showing animals that help make food.
        Skills Developed: Observation, classification, reasoning, understanding interdependence between animals and humans.

        Inquiry Question: What do animals need to stay healthy so they can keep helping us?
        I will display pictures of healthy vs neglected animals. I will then ask: “What do these animals need to be happy and healthy?”. We will then discuss food, shelter, water, love, and vet care. I will then ask the learners to create a “Helping Hands for Animals” poster showing how we can care for them. The learners will then share posters and explain their ideas to the class.

        Inquiry Question: How do animals help people in their work?
        I will show pictures of guide dogs, police dogs, donkeys pulling carts, and horses. I will then ask learners what each animal is doing and why it is important. I will then allow the learners to role-play each animal’s job (e.g., guide dog helping someone cross the road). We will then discuss what might happen if people didn’t have animals to help. The learners will then draw themselves being helped by an animal.
        Skills Developed: Empathy, understanding human–animal relationships, communication, role-play and reasoning.

        Inquiry Question: How do bees build strong homes, and what can we learn from them?
        I will show close-up images of a honeycomb and beehives. I will then ask: “What shapes can you see?” and “Why do you think bees use this shape to build their house?” I will then discuss how hexagons fit together without gaps. The learners will then build their own “mini beehives” using jelly tots and toothpicks. The learners will then compare which hive designs are strongest or most stable.
        Skills Developed: Observation, problem-solving, creativity, exploring natural design and structure.

        Inquiry Question: What happens to wool after it comes off a sheep?
        I will show pictures of the wool-to-jacket process (shearing to cleaning to spinning to sewing). I will then ask the learners to sequence the pictures in the correct order. We will then discuss what changes happen to the wool at each step. I will then get the learners to make a collage titled “From Sheep to Sweater.” We will then reflect: “What would happen if we didn’t have sheep?”
        Skills Developed: Sequencing, understanding processes, design thinking, observation.
