What are data capture devices
They include mouse, keyboards, touchscreen and different types of sensors and a range of specialised devices for disabled users.

TOUCHSCREEN
A display that allows users to interact directly with a device by touching the screen instead of using a keyboard or a mouse.
Direct interaction-tap, swipe, or pinch the screen
Input and output combined-the screen displays information and accepts input at the same time
Multi-touch capability-Many touchscreens can detect more than one touch point at a time
Responsive interface-Provides immediate feedback like opening an app or highlighting a button.
Used for: smartphones ,tablets ,ATMs and interactive displays
KEYBOARD
An input device that allows a user to enter data, commands or text into a computer or digital device
Keys for input-letter, numbers, symbols, and function keys for different commands
Layout-most use the QWERTHY layout but other layouts like AZERTY exist
Types of keyboards: Wired/wireless/mechanical/membrane
Ergonomic features-some keyboards are designed to reduce strain during long typing sessions
MOUSE
An input device that allows users to interact with a computer by moving a pointer on the screen and selecting objects
Pointer control-moves the cursor on the screen
Buttons
Scroll wheeling-allow scrolling which is useful for looking through documents
Types of mouse: Wired mouse/wireless mouse/optical/led mouse/trackball mouse
