Nutritional requirements
Chemical Energy:
for cellular process, Organic building blocks from macromolecules and essential nutrients.
Function : convert to ATP via cellular respiration.
Essential nutrients: Materials the animals cells cannot synthesize and must be obtain from their diet.
Not enough of these nutrients can lead to malnourishment - a deficiency in one or more essential nutrients.
Vitamins: Inorganic molecules used to activate enzymes.
Minerals: ions,salts, elements , activate enzymes
