chloroplasts contain chlorophyll, other enzymes, and molecules to produce sugar. within the chloroplast there are sacs called thylakoids, and inside certain regions they're stacked, and each stack is a granum. outside of the thylakoids is fluid called the stroma. the stroma contains DNA and ribosomes along with enzymes. the membrane of the chloroplast space is divided into three spaces: the intermembrane space, the stroma, and thylakoid.
