Animals provide humans with essential resources such as milk, eggs, meat, and wool, which meet our basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter. This shows the interdependence between humans and animals (DBE, 2011; Naudé & Meier, 2025).
Learners examine different pictures or real examples of animal products (e.g., a bottle of milk, an egg, a piece of wool).
In small groups, they discuss and match each animal to the product it provides.
