Pollination helps plants grow and produce food
Inquiry-based activity- Investigate with Pollination Simulation: Learners will given powdered milk or sugar on their hands/fingers to pollinate flowers drawn on paper and see how pollen spreads on the flower/plant
Decomposers(Ants, Earthworms)
These animals break down waste and improves the health or quality of the soil
Inquiry-based activity: Soil Observation Jar: Teacher will create a mii compost jar filled with soil and worms. Learners will observe and given a chance to predict what worms do overtime
Social Science
Occupation
People work with animals for service purposes and to produce food
Inquiry-based activity: social science symbols: Learners will be given a page with 4 different animals pasted and will asked which animal is in NORTH, SOUTH, EAST ETC. they have to lable North, South, East and WEST

Animals help community for safety and healthiness
Inquiry-based activity: Role play questionairs/Interview: Learners will pretend like they are interviewing a guid dog trainer or a farmer asking all relevant questions and age appropriate(classmate in role)

Technology helps human care and also be able to work with animals eg. Brushes, Leashes, Feeders
Inquiry based activity- Design Challenge: Learners will be instructed top design bee hives or milk containers using recycled materials.
Biomimicry
Animals need safe homes just like human beings.
Inquiry-bases Activity: Build A Bubble bee drone: Learners will be instructed to use paper/tubes to create flying models maybe adding wing and throwing in the to make seem like its flying like the bee.
