        The teacher will first prompt students by asking, "What comes to mind when you hear the word 'population'?"

        The class will be divided into small groups. Each group will be assigned a topic and given a shared Google Doc containing guiding questions and a link to a safe, relevant resource (such as a BBS or Kuensel article).
        Group 1: Births - Why do families have children?
        Group 2: Deaths - What contributes to people living longer, healthier lives today?
        Group 3: Migration - Why do people move from rural to urban areas?
        Group 4: Environment - How does population size impact the environment?
        Each group will collaborate to find answers and summarize their key findings in the Google Doc.

    - - Monitoring & Guidance
        
        The teacher will monitor group progress by reviewing each team's Google Doc in real-time. This allows for providing targeted feedback, clarifying concepts through comments, and ensuring groups remain on task without disrupting their collaborative process.
    - - Follow Up Activity (5 minutes)
        
        A representative from each group will share their team's most significant finding. As each point is presented, the teacher will add it to the main class mind map on the screen, creating a consolidated visual summary of the day's lesson.
