Early pharmacists, apothecaries in other words, made herbal remedies which were made of herbs, spices, minerals and animal products these herbal remedies are still used in phytotherapy (chiropactic, physical therapy) and traditional medicine nowadays. These herbalism medicine influenced the medicine in Asia a lot specifically China, which is good and affordable. Paracelsus a Swiss physician and alchemist from the renaissance experimented with mercury, sulfur, and iron creating early versions of chemical medicine.
