Equivalent rates are rates that are equal but look different because they are written with a different ratio or unit. Example: 2:4 and 4:8 are the same. Or 1$ for 10 items is the same as 50cents for 5 items.
Rate: is showing how much of one thing for a certain amount of another thing. Example. 10km per Hour or $60/2hours
Unit rate: When the second number in the rate is one. Example 10km/hour. The second number is 1 hr or just hr.
-
Multiple: multiplying a number by a whole number or the numbers when you add the same number to it's self. Examle: 5, 10, 15, 20

Double Number Line: When 2 number lines are stacked on top of each other so you can compare the two lines. Example: # of students on top line and percentages on bottom line.
-
Expanded form: listing all the prime numbers that can be multiplied together to get the first number
Exponential form: breaking down a composite number into its prime factors but using exponents to write it out.
common denominator: When 2 fractions have the same denominator or bottom number. Example 3/10 and 7/10
