The LA Riots & Our Us v Them World, The Unplugged Alpha- This video talks about the idea of "us vs. them" and how people are divided in different ways, like politics, culture, beliefs, etc. The speaker compares immigration in the United States and Canada, saying that America is a melting pot with no clear identity, while Canada keeps their different groups more separated. He believes that the United States is too inclusive. Through my eyes, though, diversity is strength.

Other- Notes: This video shows examples of divisive rhetoric that creates "us vs. them" YouTube title is literally called "us vs. them". We can counter this type of thought process by teaching empathy and encouraging Inclusion. Since my parents were once illegal immigrants, it affects how I view debates about immigration. Along with that, news articles or political commentary often frame immigration debates in "us vs. them" terms.
