high prices
pharmaceutical companies price their medications significantly higher than other countries. why is that?
high prices = higher quality care compared to countries with universal healthcare with low prices equals low quality care
for those that can afford it come to America to get high quality and quick care compared to the country they come from.
wait times
in countries like Canada their wait time to see a doctor can be around 15-40 weeks, and in worse cases 4 years. vs in the united states if you have the money you can be seen the next day or the day of.
wait times are problematic because within those weeks of waiting their condition could worsen, possibly leading to death. where if there were no wait times you can get help as soon as possible.

if we stop requiring businesses to giving their employees health insurance they can pay their employers more and if the workers leave their company they wont loose their health insurance because they chose their own private insurance.
the association of healthcare practitioners have opposed many of the plans to move to universal health care.
socialism
many argue that the start of socialism is the government being too involved in the healthcare system.
taxes
how will the USA fund universal healthcare? taxes. but it will take trillions of dollars for the united states to implement a universal health care. meaning high taxes.
freedom
critics argue that if we switch to universal healthcare that it takes away our freedom of choice. choice in the the doctor and insurance plan.
high death rates
in the united state, high amounts of low income citizens die from preventable health problems. colored women die during pregnancy compared to white women. and lastly suicide.
