Occured on 28 June 1914.
Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, were visiting Sarajevo.
Terrorists called 'The Black Hand' planned to assassinate the Archduke.
Austria-Hungary took Sarajevo, which was of Serbia.
They threw a bomb into Archduke's car.
The plan failed.
When Archduke's chauffer took a wrong turn, one of the terrorists, Gavrilo Princip, fired his revolver and killed the Archduke and his wife.
