Create an inviting layout. Arrange desks, learning centers, and your own workspace to promote good traffic flow and suit your teaching style.
Decorate thoughtfully. Put up posters, motivational quotes, and student work displays to create a welcoming and stimulating environment. Avoid over-decorating, which can be distracting.
Organize your materials. Implement a clear system for storing supplies, copies, and digital files. Label bins and folders so everything has a place and is easy to find.
Test your technology. Arrive early to make sure your computer, projector, and other equipment are set up and working properly.
