age 5: skips, balance on one foot, draws triangle, dresses self
age 6:improved coordination, prints letters, ties shoes
cognitive development
age 2: symbolic play, can sort by shape or color
age 3: pretend play, egocentric thinking
age 4: preoperational thinking strengthens, focus on appearance, cannot conserve quantity
age 5: can sort into multiple categories, understanding time concepts, counting
age 6: Logical reasoning begins, asks more complex questions, understands cause-effect

language development
age 2: 200-300 words, uses 2 word phrases
age 3: 900-1,000 words, 3-4 word sentences, asks "why"
age 4: 1,500 - 2,000 words, complete sentences, tells simple stories
age 5: 2,500+ words, uses future tense, understands basic grammar rules
age 6: 5,000+ words, narrates experiences clearly, understands jokes and wordplay
