Net Revenue Growth
Formula: (Net Revenue_t - Net Revenue_t-1) / Net Revenue_t-1 * 100%
Interpretation: Positive = growth; negative = decline.
Example: Revenue grew from $10M to $12M = 20% growth
Description: Measures revenue increase over time.
Client Profitability
Description: Profit contribution of each client.
Formula: Revenue from Client - Cost to Serve
Interpretation: High = good client, low = reconsider pricing or costs.
Example: Client A revenue $500k, cost $400k → Profit = $100k (20%)
Employee Billable Utilization
Description: Share of available hours spent on billable work.
Formula: Billable Hours / Total Hours * 100%
Interpretation: High = efficient, too high risks burnout.
Example: 1,500 billable / 2,000 available = 75%
Talent Acquisition & Retention
Employee Turnover Rate
Description: Proportion of employees leaving.
Formula: Employees Left / Avg Employees * 100%
Interpretation: High = retention problems, low = stability.
Example: 15 left, avg 105 staff → 14.3% turnover
Staff Growth Rate
Description: Workforce expansion or contraction.
Formula: (Employees End - Employees Start) / Employees Start * 100%
Interpretation: Positive = expansion, negative = contraction.
Example: Start 100, end 110 → 10% growth
Employee Satisfaction
Description: How satisfied employees are (survey/NPS).
Formula: Survey Scores / Total Responses
Interpretation: High = engagement, low = cultural/leadership issues.
Example: 80 of 100 satisfied = 80% satisfaction
Time to Hire
Description: Average days to fill a position.
Formula: Date Offer Accepted - Date Position Opened
Interpretation: Long = recruitment inefficiency; short = agile hiring.
Example: Opened Mar 1, hired Mar 25 = 24 days
Project Delivery
Projects On Budget
Description: Percentage of projects delivered within budget.
Formula: Projects Within Budget / Total Projects * 100%
Interpretation: High = good estimation, low = cost overruns.
Example: 15 out of 20 projects within budget = 75%
Projects On Schedule
Description: Percentage of projects delivered on time.
Formula: Projects On Time / Total Projects * 100%
Interpretation: High = effective planning, low = delays.
Example: 24 of 30 projects on time = 80%
Average Project Overrun
Description: Average % cost overrun across projects.
Formula: Avg((Actual - Budget) / Budget * 100%)
Interpretation: Low = good control, high = poor estimation.
Example: Overruns 5%, 10%, 15% → Avg = 10%
Effective Billing Rate
Description: Revenue per hour worked.
Formula: Total Revenue / Total Hours Worked
Interpretation: Low vs. target = discounting or inefficiency.
Example: Revenue $200k / 2,500 hrs = $80/hr
