religion; on page 14, it says "the sumerians worshiped many gods and goddesses" also it talks about how there gods have lots of stories. this shows that they like to make up stories and have a greate imagination. (Steele 14)
art: on page 28, the author put; they were molding clay into simple pots by the 8th millennium and bce. this shows that they wanted to express themselves, even in the 8th millennium.they also invited the potters wheel, which helped them make pottery wheel.(steele 28)
government; on page 8 it takes about how the city states started to have rulers. it also said "thick, defensive laws were built around each city..."this show they value protection and didn't't want there city's to come down easy. (steele 8)
arcitactureOn page 24 it said Mesopotamia is the Ziggurats massive platform of the brick. According to the ziggurats that means height and pinnade. Also the text states that the Ziggurats had small temples on the top and reached by those long stairways. (Steele 24)
Locatio: location :on page 6 it said that Mesopotamia is located in what is today is Iraq, TUrkey, Ira, and Syria. According to the Greeks, Mesopotamia means "between the rivers." Also, the text states that "Mesopotamisa included cooler mountainous regions I the north and reed-filled wetlands I the southeast. (Steele 6)

location- on page 8 it said that egyptian live mainly on the banks of the Nile, but also a long the canals extending form it. over 90% of Egypt consists of desert. which they called the "Red land." Every year, the Nile would flood, leaving behind rich silt o the farland. ( Hart 8)
