technology: On page 22 it says " The Chinese emperor developed the different inventions." Many inventions were carried along the silk road. Other Chinese Inventions that made the world a better place were paper money, clockwork, silk, porcelain, fireworks, kites, umbrellas and the wheelbarrow. (Cotterell 22)
