Comers (trade) Trade flourished under the Mongol, or yuan dynasty. Permitted merchants were able to trade freely throughout ancient china. They had controlled the entire silk road at the time with it's series of vast and long trade routes. (Cortall pg 58)
Religion, The early years of the zhou dynasty (1027-256B.C.) were the golden years of social harmony. Confucius believed that family relationships were also being governed by neutral respect strong family bonds formed the business of a stable society. Confucius encouraged ancestor worship because it strengthened family loyalties. (Cortall pg 12)
Art , In china the art of cooking has been celebrated for a long time. Many wealthy people had banquets and ate a lot of food. Normal people would usually eat rice and beans. (Cortall pg 44)
Technology, Some of the worlds greatest inventions came from china. Throughout it imperial history emperors encouraged the development of science and technology. In the middle ages many chines inventions were carried along the silk road. (cortall pg 22)
Location , China is dominated by the two great river, the yellow river and the Yangzi river. The yellow river gave rich soil for farming. That area is were the first civilization started. (Cortall pg 38-39)
Writing: An example of writing is the oracle bone, which was used by Shang kings. Individuals would burn the oracle bone, it would crack, and answer questions about their ancestors. These were created from ox bone or tortoiseshells. (Cotterall 11)
Government, China is the oldest and most continuous civilization. Ancient china remained untouched by outside influences because it was a world apart. Great thinker such as confucius encouraged people to lean in order family centered way of life. ( Cortall pg 6)

Art,On page 50 the author says, "The Egyptians always were having many parties." Whenever they had big festivals they would play flutes, Harps, and castanets too. The men would use rhythm sticks to match the beat.(HART 50)
location, On page 8 it said. That the on both sides of the Nile, it would flood leaving the land fertile. Desert covers more than 90 percent Which was called the red land. "The Egyptians lived on the banks of the Nile which they called the "black land" Which was because of the black silt. (HART 8)

Architecture, On page 20 it says, "The first Pyramid ever built was Supposed to be a burial for king Djoser". Over time his grave built-in time making the "STEP PYRAMID". It was supposed to be for kings to walk up to the sun god.(HART 20)
Writing, Writing: On page 34 it said that Scribes had to experts in writing they had to know about 700 different writing symbols. It was really complicated so that not too many people could master it. Hieroglyphs were used on state monuments, temples and tombs. (Heart 34)
Government, Government: On Page 10 it said that the King was not only the most powerful and important man he was thought to be a god. Often the ruling pharaoh would adopt this as co-regent to enable a smooth takeover when he died. One Pharaoh holds the record for the longest reign we know for any monarch. (Hart 10)
religion, On page 24, It said that many of the gods are represented as animals. Different animals were shown as these gods, because they had different descriptions. Each of there 42 different districts had there own gods. (HART 24)

Government, On page 10, " The sumerians own name for there territory is KIENGIR. They had many different lords. Also city state rulers, were honored with various titles. (Steele 10)
Writing, The Mesopotamians Did't have written records. Later people had records of ownership. On page 12, It said, "Early people who lived as hunters and did not need written records..." (Steele 12)
Location, on page six, Mesopotamia is in-between two rivers. Most of ancient mesopotamia Lay within the order of modern Iraq. The region I called the cradle of civilization

Art, As early as the eighth millennium the mesopotamians were making clay pottery. To make the pottery they have to make this craft called a pottery wheel. After making the mold they would bake it over a fire.
