Religion: On page 14 it said that they worshipped many gods and goddesses. Also we know that " The sumerians also believed in spirits, ghost, and demons." Another thing is that Enil was the father of other gods. located (Steele 14)
Government: For much of its history, Mesopotamia was not a single, unified empire but a collection of independent city-states, each with its own ruler. These early governments were theocracies where a king or priest-king ruled as a representative of the city's god. Eventually, certain rulers, like Sargon of Akkad and Hammurabi of Babylon, established larger empires that centralized power and created standardized codes of law located. ( Steele 22)
Art : The author wrote that the Mesopotamians were really good with technology and crafts. Also we know that " Using low, horizontal looms, women wove cloth from wool, then linen, and, from the eighth century BCE, cotton." They also were working with a lot of metal work. located. (Steele 44)
Writing: On page 12 it said that people who lived as hunters and nomads didn't have to have written records. Also we know that "The sumerians devised the worlds first script or writing system." After a little bit of time they started representing sounds as well. located. (Steele 12)
Location: On page 6 it said that Mesopotamia lies between two rivers. Also, we know that"most of Ancient Mesopotamia lay within the border of modern Iraq." The region is called the cradle of civilizations. located. (Steele 6)
Architecture: The author wrote that it represented a mountain. My evidence is"...From earth to heaven." So it is saying how tall it is coming from earth to heaven.
