Indus River Valley
Location: Surrounded by water, mountain, desert.5,000 years ago a civilization developed along the Indus river.

Writing:The writing cannot be deciphered. Many of the symbols are located on seals, ceramic pots,, and other types of materials.
Architecture/Technology: The people in the Indus valley created cities and the people cared deeply about hygiene and there city's reassembled the importance of the idea.

Religion: In the passage of page 26 it said that "Buddhism had taken firm root in Chinese culture and became China's most popular belief." This means that Buddhism had turned into something very important to Chinese culture. Buddhism began to decline due to the Tang Emperor's strong government. (Cotterell 26)
