Ancient China
Government- On page 16 it said " In 221B.c. The Chinese Empire was formed." The empire was Zheng. Zheng took the title first before everyone. 
Technology- on page 22 it said " Throughout its imperial history, emperors encouraged the development of science and technology, and for centuries China led other nations in these areas."During the middle ages these inventions were spread among the Silk road this led to an enormous impact. Some of the inventions were paper money, silk, and printing. (Cotterrell 22
Commerce (trade)- on page 40 it said that "in general, wealthy people and government officials lived at one end of the town or city and the poor at the other." So most people lived on the not so rich side. So richer people got the better life. (Cotterell 40)
writing: On page 11 it said that " Shang kings used oracle bones to consult the ancestral spirits." In order to find out answers to questions, the ox bone or tortoise shell was scorched until it cracked. Finally the answers were inscribed on the oracle bone. (Cotterell 11)
Art- On age 56 the text said that "China has always been renowned for its exquisite arts and crafts." In China goods formed major export commodities bronze, jade, silk, lacquer, and porcelain. Even Though manufactured decorative objects had sophisticated techniques, they were usually mass produced. (Cotterell 56)
Religion: On page 26 it said that " In Imperial China, Religious beliefs were divided into "three ways" of confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism." So for religious beliefs some people had disagreements for religious principles. So Chinese people would be emerged in the warring. (cotterell 26
Location- on page 6 it said " "From 221 B.C. to A.D. 1912, it was under a single great empire." China has these sculptures that hold the empire together. Philosophers also have a big role in holding the empire together. (Cotterrell 6
