Ancient China
Location: Ancient China was located between the Yellow and the Yangtze River for the crops to grow. On page 38 it said "The Yangtze River provided water supply for rice cultivation in the warm southern climate." The yangtze river had water supply for rice cultivation. (Cotterell 38)
Government-In ancient China they had an emperor/king ruled over the land. These kings sometimes had Nobles, that means the king's closest family or friends would rule part of the land, but the king still got the taxes. This drought turmoil because the nobles always wanted more land and power so they fought each other. (cotterell 16)
Art: On page 56, the text says "*In imperial China, luxury goods formed the manger export commodities such as Chinese bronze, jade, silk, lacquer, and porcelain were prized in China and Europe." They also made weapons that helped the army take over land and made the emperor more money. (Cotterall 56)
Religion: According to the text "Confucius believed that family relationships should also be governed by mutual respects, since strong family bonds formed the stable society." This was one of the many things Confucius believed, as he was a well-known thinker in ancient China. His beliefs formed a religion, called Confucianism. The religion is still practice today. (Catterall 12)
Technology: Some of the most common Chinese technology is paper, money, silk, fireworks, kites, umbrellas, gunpowder and chopsticks. Gunpowder helped them in their wars to claim more land. They also made boats equipped with magnetic copis to help them find direction. (Cattrell 22)
Commerce (trade): On page 58 it says "trade flourished under the Mongols." The Mongol emperors ruled from 1279-1368, and permitted merchants to trade freely. They controlled the entire silk road. (Cotterell 58)
Writing:On page 11 it said that "The Shang king used oracle bones to consult the ancestral spirits." Oracle bones were used for religious purposes and answered questions. After being scorched, the answers were inscribed on the ox bone of tortoiseshell. (Cotterell 11)

Government: In India, there was a function that had been made over the years called the caste system. The caste system was a ranking of jobs and respected people. The highest ranking would be Priest and academics, but leaders would be ranked second, so as the warchiefs. Leaders and warchiefs would have ganas, which were their families, and all of the leaders' families would have their own territory.
