Spreads through contaminated surfaces (fomites). They can also spread through air born particles, direct contact or by touchin infected surfaces like cups or toys
Infects most of all forms of life such as humans, animals and plants
Protists
Reproduce asexually through binary fission, as well as sexually through the fusion of gametes.
Spread via contaminated sources, such as food and water, as well as through sexual actions and insect vectors like mosquitoes.
Cannot be treated using antibiotics, but can with antiprotozoal medications like metronidazole, tinidazole, and nitazoxanide.
Once protists have entered the body, they infect and invade cells, reproducing and then spreading.
Bacteria
It can spread in many ways including: Direct Contact, Airborne Droplets or Contaminated Surfaces
