How would you characterize Girma's relationship with her guide dog(s)? What benefits came out of their relationships?

"constantly confronting ableism is tiring work. But someday the world will recognize that a Deafblind person charts her own path through the unknown" ( 103) - this is about fostering critical agency to have control over one's own life path
not in control of her guide dogs: "I learned to read her body language, and together we strode with six legs" (102). -- this shows a non-hierarchichal model of being in partnership/ even playing ground. Symbiotic/mutual reciprocity; also sees each being as whole apart (and great together)
"We glided around obstacles so much more smoothly that when I traveled with a cane--imagine switching from a bicycle to a Tesla" (102).
