Myself
Family
Dad (influence on values, work ethic My dad is a hard worker and devoted to his family. He is passionate about fishing and always puts the needs of his family first. I learned how to be tough and always take care of others from my father.
Mom (support, emotional grounding) My mom is my emotional support. She is the strongest, most independent boss woman there is. She has shown me how to be strong, possess grit and persevere through everything. She stays calm and understands that staying positive and keeping faith is the formula to happiness. She lives her life for her children and sacrifices so much to ensure we are happy.
Siblings (shared experiences, humor) I have a younger sister who is a freshman at High Point and a younger brother who is in the 8th grade. I am very close to my siblings and I hope I have been a good example for them.

Relationships
Girlfriend (companionship, growth)
Dog (loyalty, responsibility). I love spending time with my girlfriend who is also at JMU and we have a dob named Apollo who is a Border Collie. Our dog is very smart and we enjoy taking him on the adventures in the mountains with us. We spend lots of time throwing frisbee, chasing balls and enjoying training him with new tricks.

Occupation
Golf course job (customer service, responsibility): I work at a local golf course in Harrisonburg on the weekends. I really enjoy this job as it has taught me a sense of responsibility and helps to pay expenses so that it does not all fall on my parents. I have enjoyed working as it keeps me away from the parties and other events that distract me from my school obligations.

Activities
Hiking and outdoor adventures. I love taking my jeep into the mountains and finding new trails to explore or water holes to experience. I enjoy being outside and exploring different parts of the mountains.
Baseball (teamwork, passion) I grew up playing baseball since I was eight and went to college to play baseball. It was always a big part of my life and taught me about loyalty, determination and passion. I learned to have a good work ethic, be a good team player and how to respect authority through years of baseball.
Baseball cards (nostalgia, collecting) My grandfather was aa collector of baseball cards and I inherited this passion as well. I enjoy spending time with my younger brother while collecting baseball cards too. We enjoy trading cards, sellling cards and going to antique shops looking for other cards that are collectors.
Watching movies (storytelling, relaxation), I love watching movies and series on Netflix. I like to watch mystery, action and suspense.
