there are however weaknesses that just war cannot solve as according to some scholars there can be things like civilian casualties that can be justified as saying they are just unwanted because the main objective was to hit armed combatants
this is becoming more of a problem as with the rise in urban and technological warfare have now put civilians into the crossfire than ever before
drone warfare has been seen to attack or at the least hit civilian buildings whether they were targeted or not, moreover in a city and especially very compact areas like what is happening in gaza. The rise in the amount of injuries and deaths are a very good example of this because the line between discrimination for Jus in bello is becoming very blurred
