Innovations and ideas
Innovations: an object that a scientist invented
examples of innovations include: iPhones, laptops, televisions, cars, telephones.
Example: in the past, we go to places mostly by carries, which are pulled by horses, nowadays, we can use cars to move from place to place.
Idea: a statement/rule that someone proved.
examples of ideas: newtons law, gravity, the discovery of pie.
Innovations and ideas change our lives, we rely very much on those inventions and theories to make our lives easier.
Ecosystems
Biomes: rainforest biome arctic tundra desert biome mountain biome deep sea freshwater biome temperate forest grassland.
Adaptations: animals adapt to their environments by camouflage, having long fur, big feet, streamlined, and so on.
Food chain: a chain that shows whom eats whom Food web: multiple food chains put together in one.
Pyramid of number: a pyramid that shows the number of animals in each trophic level. Pyramid of biomass: the weight of each trophic level animals.
Values and believes
What people think are more important for them , what they believe in, their culture, traditions, and ways of life .
Not everyone thinks from the same perspective, we should respect others opinions.
Every country has their own believes
Globalizations and voyages
Globalization is the world's countries connecting and relying on each other more through trade, technology, and shared culture.
Famous voyagers include: Columbus, Zhenghe, Dias. Voyagers sail all around the world to trade with other countries, and explore new places.
Supply and demand
Supply is how much there is of something, demand is how much people want it, and this decides the price.
Shortage: Happens when demand is higher than supply. Prices usually go up.
Example: A new game console sells out immediately.
Surplus: Happens when supply is higher than demand. Prices usually go down.
Example: A store has too many winter coats left at the end of the season and holds a sale.
