When?
Major changes came between 1730–1800. The Flying Shuttle (1733), Spinning Jenny (1764), Water Frame (1769), Spinning Mule (1779), and Power Loom (1785) transformed spinning and weaving. By the late 18th century, steam engines, the Cotton Gin, and Jacquard looms powered a full industrial shift.
