- - - - Gather information (history, signs, symptoms)
  - - - Use PPE, Breathing, Bleeding, Bones/Burns, Other
- - - - Notice risks to yourself or others
  - - - Approach the casualty. Use AVPU
  - - - Open airway, head-tilt/chin-lift
  - - - Check for breathing
  - - - Have someone help you retrieve AED/call 999 if possible. Do not leave casualty. Start CPR if needed.
  - - - Use AED if one arrives
- - - - are they moving or speaking?
  - - - Respond to speech?
  - - - Place hand on shoulder and gently shake for response
  - - - Casualty is unresponsive at this point
- - - - Rest the area where brusing occurs
  - - - Apply ice (over a covering)
  - - - Compress the area
  - - - Elevate if possible
