Republic Act No. 1425, also known as the Rizal Law, was enacted in the Philippines in 1956. It mandates the inclusion of courses on the life, works, and writings of Dr. José Rizal especially his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo in the curricula of all public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines.
