Peeta is kind, generous, and emotional, yet also clever and brave willing to sacrifice himself, like seen in the previous book, and always stays true to his compassion. In this book he is held captive, he is being hijacked by poison altering his memories. The poison in his body took control over him and when he saw Katniss again he was very aggressive and attacked her. Peeta was able to recover and was there fro Katniss when she needed in the end they rebuild there relationship for real.
