Pesticides cost to South African Health System
How organophosphates affect health of people in South Africa (or Western Cape)
Organophosphates are a type or group of pesticides
Could be SA or WC. Depends on the data found. If there is too much for SA to input into a model it may take too long.
If WC doesn't have enough data then it is underpowered.

Look for data of pesticides in diet, soil, dust and water.
Prof Dalvie has papers and data related.
Look at the cost of inaction vs action
Action being change in policy, prohibiting use of certain pesticides, better farming and agricultural practice. Decreased burden on health system and economy (income, DALYs) but increased for agricultural sector possibly through less efficient pest control.
Inaction - status quo.
Mix of Environmental Health and Economic Evaluation
The UN has a tool that quantifies the cost of pesticide exposures. Maybe need to make my own with a economics supervisor.
Second option is to look at air pollution in Cape Town (though it has already been done in oher studies) or in another city/province. Challenges are working with raw data, inconsistencies in the data and that it is a saturated field for studies.
