Net Income (Hung)
Post-tax income after deductions and taxes.
Affected by government tax policies and transfers.
Capital income
(Phat)
Often concentrated among top earners; can appear as a sudden large gain when an asset is sold.
Broad measure: Earnings from dividends, retained earnings, and the sale of capital assets.
Gross income
(Hung)
Pretax income from all counted sources.
Labor income
(Nghia)
Narrow measure: Money earned from work.
Does not include income from investments or other non-work sources.

(Nhat)
Money Income
Regular income received, excluding capital gains and government benefits.
Market Income
Similar to money income but excludes pensions and similar cash sources.
Disposable Income
Includes income from all sources, including government assistance.
Real income
(Hieu)
Adjusted for constant prices (accounts for inflation).
Nominal income
(Hieu)
Based on current market prices (not adjusted for inflation).
