A dried aqueous suspension contains 20% to 55% of a dipeptide sweetening agent (aspartame) and a stabilizing flow agent (include dextran, algin, gum arabic, carrageenan, xanthan gum, or guar gum, etc.). This suspension is then blended with a solubilized encapsulation agent, comprising maltodextrin, gum arabic, and starches, before being dried to form a stabilized encapsulated sweetener. This product is intended for use in dry powdered beverage mixes.
