Natural Order Hypothesis
Definition: Natural Order Hypothesis suggests that language learners acquire grammatical structures in a predictable order, regardless of how they are taught
Example: Studies have shown, for instance, that certain grammatical morphemes like the "-ing" progressive marker and the plural marker "/s/" are often acquired earlier than others in English.
