Pentaksiran Seoklah (PS)- Academic/Subject Assessments

Covers: Written tests, Assignments, Projects, Presentations, Lab work (for science subjects), Practical tasks (technical subjects)
Pentaksiran Phiskometrik (PPsi)- Phychological Profiling
Measures intelligence, Aptitude, Personality traits, intresents
Usually done in Form 1 Form 3, and sometimes Form 5
Pentaksiran Akticiti Jasmani, Sukan dan Kokurikulum (PAJSK)
Assesses student participation in physical education, sports and co-curricular activities (cub, societies, uniform bodies)
Includes attendance, involvement, leadership roles, and achievements
Examination System
SPM examination. SPM also includes school-based assessments, coursework, and project. The SPM is graded using a system that ranges from A+ (Highest) to G (fail), which a numerical grade point associated with each letter grade.
Taken by students at the end of Form 5 (17 years-old)

Lower Secondary (Forms 1-3):

Upper Secondary (Forms 4-5):
Students choose elective subjects based on their interests and academic streams (Arts or Science)
Based on the National Philosophy of Education, it emphasises the integration of knowledge, skills, and values.
