She helped start SEL in Taiwan and works together with the National Academy for Educational Research to train teachers all over Taiwan about SEL.
Professor Wu Yi-Hsuan and her team at NTNU made a program called "Best ME" to teach 22 teachers from different schools how to help students with their emotions. Then, those teachers shared what they learned with more people in their own schools.

What is SEL in Taiwan?
In Taiwan, SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) was started by a group of people who really care about education. They used what they know about feelings (psychology) and teaching (education) to help students grow strong on the inside — not just with schoolwork, but with emotions too.
