Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP)
Purpose
Monitor progress and response to treatment.
To measure the effectiveness of treatment.
To evaluate a client's ability to function socially and personally.
Areas of Assessment
Socially useful activities, including work and study.
Personal and social relationship
Self-care
Disturbing and aggressive behaviours
Assessment's Administrations
Therapist interview with the client.
Therapist rate 4 functional domains based on client's severity
Therapist assign the Global PSP Score between (1-100)
Therapist record the global score and note the severity levels in each domain.
Scoring
Each domain is rated on a six-point severity scale.
Manifest
Marked
Mild
Severe
Absent
Very severe
PSP Total Score
31 - 70 = Moderate / Marked dysfunction
<30 = Severe dysfunction
71 - 100 = Mild/No dysfunction
