At home, I speak Chinese mixed with some chinglish from time to time. My parents prefers me communicating with them with Chinese and I feel more comfortable talking to them in chinese. I am able to speak with my family casually but still have to show respect.
School

I mainly use English in school when communicating with my teachers, classmates or coaches. This is because this is the inclusive and dominant language that our school has chosen hence everyone communicates in English. I am usually communicate more professionally, and respectfully than compared to friends.
Friends

The language I use with my friends are more casual, we usually speak in English and would involve jokes, sarcasm, and slangs

Outside of school, I would use both chinese and english depending on who I am addressing. I am closer to my outside of school teachers and coaches, hence wouldn't have to communicate that formally, and can include jokes from time to time, but still have to show respect.
