It depicted workers in a heroic way, showing them as healthy, strong and happy, it was made for making propaganda.

They were young people that decided dop out society, they live in communes and travel over the country wanting peace.
WW1
Dada movement
The Dada movement began at the start of the First World War and was a protest against bourgeois, nationalist and colonialist interests.
It rejected reason and logic, and put value on nonsense and irrationality.
