Explanation
I would like to create work based on films and specific shots that evoke emotion I would also like to portray movement in my work instead of still timeless pieces to link to the idea of films being a prolonged moving artwork I have chosen this theme as I am passionate about cinema and have aspirations to have a career in the film industry. I would also like to portray the work of actors and directors who are female, queer and people of colour as historically in Hollywood most successful directors where wealthy white men people of colour also have been less likely to gain recognition and receive nominations especially in acting categories due to bias in award shows for example the Oscars.
