Usage of elements in UI/UX design
Conceptual Design
the UX designer may create a conceptual plan for all of the elements needed within the project before they begin to create these.
the UI designer may create a conceptual and basic layout of where each element will go and how the design will look before they start creating the final product.
User centered design
the UX designer will take into account the needs of the user before deciding on the final elements that are needed within the project.
the UI designer will take the accessibility and interactivity of the user in account when designing the way the elements are presented and accessed by the user.
Information architecture
the UX designer will have to figure out how to structure the information and include all of the needed elements based on the needs of the user.
the UI designer will have to consider how to represent the information visually and interactively.
Visual design
the UX designer will have to understand the limitations of visual design and then consider how they can fit all of the needed elements into the project.
the UI designer will focus primarily on the visual design and this is a main responsibility. it is their job to layout the visual aspects of the project.
