- - - - personal connection: Even though English was the first language I began speaking, my family always communicates in Tamil (their mother tongue) at home. This has allowed me to pickup many Tamil words and understand sentences in common conversations, however, I am yet to be able to fully speak and write Tamil so by doing this I would be able to communicate and write to my extended family members in a language they completely understand (Tamil) as well as stay connected to my culture.
- - - - Demonstrates to viewers how techniques are performed exactly by following hand positions, auditory instructions, and visuals on the screen which they can follow in real time. It supports the learning of people who struggle to follow written instructions, and allows people to pause, play, and replay at their own time to pace their learning.
    - - A blog can include others resources such as tips, trouble shooting, and other sources and can feature comments from everyone to discuss. Additionally, it provides instructions in text with additional images, and reflections which suit people who do not want to be rushed by a video occurring at the same time,
    - - A book would people to turn and access the page of cake decorating style they want very easily, as they are not restricted to watching a whole video to find the styles they want to learn.
    - - Having short videos/tutorials on social media platforms can allow my tutorials to reach more people and teach them how to decorate cakes. As these videos would be short, they would be able to last the attention span of many social media users (which is very short due to lots of scrolling). However, since the videos would be short it might not be as whole as informative to teach people without them getting confused, as things would be displayed very quickly.
    - - For many people they first started baking, cooking or experiments by following direct text written instructions, so having by having instructions it can be easier and better for people who prefer reading and following text instructions. However, for some steps it may be difficult to explain certain steps, which can maybe only be effectively explained by visuals. For this output it would require me to be very specific in my instructions so people would not get confused.
