STAR TOPOLOGY
An disadvantage of star topology is that if the hub or switch fails then all the devices will have no connections.

Ring topology
A ring topology connects devices in a closed loop where data travels in one direction. It's known for avoiding collisions and being efficient for a limited number of devices, but a single point of failure can bring down the entire network, and it can be difficult to add or remove devices
CPU, RAM, Storage (SSD),Clock speed,
adding more cpu cores can increase the amount of instructions to be processed at a time
adding more ram leads to more space in primary storage so more open applications can be stored and retrieved quickly because with more ram you dont need to use virtual memory which is further away and slower
What is a wirelesss access point
a device that allows wireless devices to connect to a wired network, typically the internet or a local area network (LAN)
what is a router
a device that connects two or more networks, like your home network to the internet
what is an NIC
a piece of hardware that allows a computer to connect to a network, enabling communication with other devices on the network.
A mesh topology is a network setup where every device (node) is directly connected to multiple other devices, creating redundant pathways for data transmission. This design enhances reliability and fault tolerance, as data can be rerouted if one connection fails. However, it's also more complex and expensive to implement due to the increased cabling and hardware requirements.
