The Son - The second person of the holy trinity, otherwise known as "God the Son" or Jesus Christ. H is viewed as the savior from original sin.
John the Baptist - A Jewish preacher viewed as the precursor of Jesus, tasked with making way for the Messiah
Mary - The mother of Jesus, chosen by God and impregnated by the Holy Spirit.
Synoptic Gospels - Three gospels, written by apostles who tell about the events in Jesus' life, primarily his ministry in Galilee, with individual differences.

Original Sin - The belief that that all humans are born sinful because of the first sin committed by Adam and Eve.
Canonical Gospels - The four books which show the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Christian Traditions
Eastern Orthodox - The largest body of Eastern Christianity. It is known for believing the Word of God is both divine and human united in the form of Jesus Christ.
Roman Catholic - The largest Christian Church worldwide. They believe one God exists as the Trinity who are three equal persons.
Protestantism - One of the three major branches Christianity. It emerged during the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. It is known for its rejection of practices of the Roman Catholic Church.
God the Father - The first person of the holy trinity who sent Jesus unto the world, understood through his sons teachings. The creator of all things.
The Holy Spirit - A part of God which guides believers to truth, convicts them of sin, aids them in worship, and bestows gifts on believers such as love and peace. It can also be seen as the presence of God in the world.
